4 years later
Wow has it been 4 plus years from the time I last posed here. Damn a lot has changed: we have a new president; Barack Obama(the first African-American one at that, something I thought I might live to but not this soon), The war in Iraq is coming to an end (finally, Mission Accomplished might mean something again), Bin Ladin is dead, America's standing in the world is on the rise, while our own prospects for the future seem to dangle in the wind, I am living in my own place, and I just celebrated my 5 year anniversary of working at Value Village. While it's a job it is by no means the dream I have for myself. As I tell people, It was going to be a 6-9 month job while I look for something long-term but about that point I saw the economic cliff approaching rather quickly and decided to sick around; and that 6-9 month job, has now entered it's sixth year with no end in sight. But things aren't all bad, have met many good people, had and kinda lost a girlfriend (we're still vary close, in other words it's complicated) And I'm a Sounders FC season ticket holder.Now because this is the first post in a while I will re-frame from boring you to death with what going on and my opinions of it. but those will be coming.
